“Ramona and Beezus” star Selena Gomez is known for being quite the fashonista, topping “Best Dressed” lists and walking red carpets with her girly yet edgy style. Now she’ll be joining the list (where Beyonce and Lauren Conrad hold the crown) of actresses turn fashion designers, transforming their everyday wear into consumer (and wallet) friendly clothing lines, with the announcement of her collection “Dream Out Loud," dropping in Kmart stores nationwide by the end of July.
“This has been a dream of mine for as long as I can remember and I feel privileged to be able to give the consumer great product at a great value,” Selena said of her line in a release. Floral prints, plaids, and stripes in cute t-shirts, skirts, and sweaters are just a small percentage of the huge collection that includes handbags, accessories, sportswear and even footwear!If Selena put as much effort into her line as she does in looking gorgeous in her everyday outfits, I’m sure a trip to the junior department in July to grab a super cute outfit wouldn’t be such a bad idea (especially since it drops just in time for back-to-school shopping!).
